To ensure the best possible results for your move out, please make sure to defrost the fridge/freezer about 24 hours before the service begins. If the fridge/freezer is still frozen when the tenancy cleaners arrive, they might not be able to properly clean it.

Yes, all appliances must be turned off before our cleaning technicians arrive at the property for health and safety reasons.

Time is valuable for both clients and cleaners. If a customer cancels a booking 48 hours before the start time or at the last minute, cleaners lose their income and it messes with their schedule. Customers cancellation fees cover cleaners time and House Cleaners Ltd’s Platform costs. Please see our Terms &  Conditions .

The Bedrooms
  • Furniture: Wipe down tables and other smooth surfaces, drawers, bed frames and wardrobes
  • Dust and spot check doors and skirting boards
  • Clean and polish internal windows, sills, ledges
  • Clean inside and outside of cupboards and shelving
  • Dust and wipe all accessible surfaces
  • Remove cobwebs

The Kitchen
  • Fridge*: Remove all grime, mildew, and food splatters. Clean the inside and outside, where accessible. Wipe the door handles and clean the rubber seal.
  • Freezer*: Clean the inside and outside and wipe door handles.
  • Dishwasher: Remove mildew, grime, and food deposits, check filters, clean the soap dispenser drawer.
  • Washing machine: Wipe down inside and outside, check and clean the rubber seal, and detergent drawer.
  • Microwave: Clean the inside and outside, rotating plate and handle
  • Tumble Dryer: Clean dust and lint filters, handles and rubber seal
  • Oven Cleaning (FREE): Clean and degrease oven, hob and grill, grill pan and 3 oven racks, inner top of the oven. Wipe and clean the rubber seal.
  • Toaster: Clean and remove any leftover crumbs, the outside and under the appliance.
  • Clean inside and outside all cupboards and drawers*.
  • Dust and clean the rubbish bin.
  • Scrub, descale and wipe any dirt around the sink.
  • Clean all the wall tiles and grout where possible.
  • Vacuum and mop the hard floors.

*NOTE: Fridges and freezers should be defrosted in advance. All items must be removed from the cupboards before the booking takes place.

The Bathroom
  • Bathtub, toilet, bidet, shower cubicles: Check and remove any hair around the drainage, remove all limescale, clean tiles with a dry cloth.
  • Clean all taps and fittings, remove limescale and wipe
  • Clean the sink, sink cabinet and soap dispenser
  • Wipe and dust the radiator and towel rail
  • Clean and polish all mirrors and glass
  • Dust the extractor fans from dirt where possible
  • Clean the pipework and plumbing behind the toilet if accessible
  • Dust and spot check doors and skirting boards
  • Clean and polish internal windows, sills, ledges
  • Vacuum and mop the floor

  • Doors: Dust doors and wiped where necessary
  • Windows: Clean windows from inside, wipe down window sills, and remove fingerprints
